Nothing beats a letter. To think that someone has taken the time to find paper and an envelope, a working pen and a stamp. Imagining them clearing a space at the table and carefully putting pen to paper before venturing out to find a post box just to contact you. It brings a tear to your eye. But this is the twenty-first century – everyone’s busy, busy, busy and time is precious. Thankfully, those clever people at the internets have come up with a one stop solution for those who want to let their councillors, their MPs, their MEPS and even their London Assembly members know what they think they should be doing. Write to them They won’t be able to appreciate your taste in stationery, nor will they have the chance to admire your penmanship, but they will know that you care enough to contact them and that you expect them to care enough to respond.
